2027 Toyota Tundra

Tundra is Toyota's full-size entry for buyers who want the brand's truck warranty/service story at half-ton-plus scale. Trade-offs versus F-150/Silverado: different powertrain map and often fewer cab/bed permutations.

Toyota USA Newsroom (July 21, 2026; updated July 28, 2026) announced the 2027 Tundra with:

• Updated exterior design
• New Trailhunter package (SR5-based overlanding: Michelin LTX Trail 265/70R18, Old Man Emu suspension, recovery hooks, underbody protection, Multi-Terrain Select, Crawl Control, locking rear differential)
• TRD Pro updates (FOX Enhanced Q3S shocks, Honeycomb color, red tow hooks)
• Standard 14-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia screen; AT&T 5G connectivity noted
• Standard Toyota Safety Sense 4.0 feature list (PCS w/PD, DRCC, LDA w/SA, AHB, LTA, RSA, PDA)
• Gas twin-turbo V6 and hybrid i-FORCE MAX paths continue
• Grades listed: SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794 Edition, TRD Pro, Capstone (+ Trailhunter package)

Practical notes

Until Toyota publishes the fall spec pack, treat tow/payload/MSRP as not yet primary-cited here. i-FORCE MAX grades include a 2.4 kW inverter per the same release.
