2027 Ford F-150

The F-150 is the default US half-ton for a reason: broad cab/bed matrix, many engines, and a dealer footprint that matches rural and suburban demand. Trade-offs are complexity (option codes matter) and the gap between brochure max tow and the sticker on *your* truck.

What's confirmed

Ford continues to market F-150 as a multi-powertrain half-ton (EcoBoost V6 family, V8 availability in recent cycles, and hybrid PowerBoost in prior lines). For 2027, industry-circulated OEM tech-spec sheets discuss updated engine availability and max tow packages; DriveRevu will publish a specific max tow / payload figure only when we can cite a Ford.com or Ford Media configuration table for 2027 with the required cab/bed/axle notes. Until then, treat third-party reprints as unverified for hard claims.

Practical notes

Buyers should shop vehicle-specific GVWR, GCWR, axle ratio, and doorjamb labels — not a single segment “max.” BlueCruise/hands-free features, when equipped, may carry separate tow limits; confirm on OEM materials before assuming brochure max applies while those systems are active.
